Most bulbs are rarely bothered by insects or diseases, and heirloom bulbs are especially tough. (That’s how they’ve survived so long.) The best way to help yours stay healthy is simply to give them what they need to thrive, starting with the right hardiness zone, sun, soil, moisture, nutrients, and good air circulation.
