| Distinctive Vases and Our Heirloom Dahlias |
Our good customer Frances Palmer lives in an 1854 house in Weston, Connecticut, where she creates fabulous vases and tableware ornamented with — to quote the February 2008 issue of Martha Stewart Living — “distinctively off-kilter fluting and beading inspired by ancient Greek and Roman vessels.”
Not surprisingly, Frances also loves our heirloom dahlias. She sent us these photos of some “in the garden and in my pots” and added “I have so many of your tubers. They store beautifully every year and multiply. Thank you for such incredible flowers.” To see more, visit her website, and be sure to check out her “whimsical pots” which include two filled with our ‘Thomas Edison ’ and ‘Deuil du Roi Albert’. If, like us, you end up wanting some of Frances’s creations for your own home, her site includes a nation-wide list of sources — including Neiman-Marcus. |
